Memorials and headstones
To carve somebody’s memorial is a privilege. Over the years I’ve been asked to carve many stones commemorating the life of a loved one. Yet learning what a person was like, what they did in their life and how they were seen by family and friends remains an intimate and humbling experience.
A bespoke hand carved memorial in slate, limestone or sandstone is a piece of art that should reflect a person’s life and nature and be admired for hundreds of years.
